I'm stuck on either a mkiv supra or a Evo ix...there the same price but I feel I get more with the evo ,awd, turbo,4 doors,newer,better on gas,,, and the only reason I want the supra is the wow factor of people just staring and coming up and asking me about it and just drooling over it,,, which one should I get Both great cars and both have a great deal to offer and where i live Supra's turn heads i drive Skylines and my friends drive Supra's and when and my friends go out in a group we always attract a crowd taking pics and vids on there phones. The Supra is getting olderso i would get the Supra this time and move onto the Evo next time then you get to enjoy them both. The spark plugs are located on the side of the engine, and the distributor cap is on the top of the engine toward the rear of the engine. The wires on the distributor cap will lead you to the tops of the spark plugs in the engine. This is a simple job and can be done in your driveway or inside your garage with little preparation and no major tools. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Ratchet Spark plug socket Tape Pen 4 new spark plugs Spark plug gapper Step by Step : 1 Park your Sable on flat, level ground and open the hood. Locate the distributor cap at the top of the engine toward the rear. Follow the wires on the distributor cap to the spark plugs on the side of the engine. 2 Pull off the rubber wires that are connected to the tips of the spark plugs. Using tape, mark the holes each spark plug comes out of and the wire you pull off each plug. Number the tape markers with the pen so you don't mix up the wires. 3 Connect the spark plug socket to the ratchet and use the ratchet to remove the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs from the engine. 4 Place the gapper between the metal pin in the center of the spark plug and the metal arm over the pin. Turn the gapper until ".052" is shown in the center of the metal arm. 5 Insert the new spark plugs into the engine and tighten them using the ratchet and socket. 6 Plug in the wires to their corresponding holes and close the hood. Tips & Warnings Allow the engine to cool before beginning.

Once the plug is loose, use your fingers to remove it the remainder of the way. Replacement Step by Step : 1 Check the gap between the electrodes at the tip of the spark plug (the tip that threads into the engine) by inserting a spark-plug feeler gauge between the side and center electrode. For '99 Dodge RAM six- and eight-cylinder engines, this gap should be .035 inches. For 10-cylinder engines, the gap should be .045 inches. To adjust the gap, see Step 2. Otherwise, skip to Step 3. 2 Adjust the gap between the electrodes. To reduce the gap, gently bend the side electrode in toward the center electrode. To widen the gap, insert the spark-plug gauge between the electrodes, and carefully pry the side electrode away from the center electrode. Re-check the gap following this adjustment. 3 Thread the spark plug into the spark-plug hole in the engine, using just your fingers. This will ensure that the plug is safely seated. The plug must be turned clockwise to tighten. 4 Tighten the plug the remainder of the way, using the spark-plug socket and socket wrench. 5 Attach the spark-plug wire, by fitting the spark-plug wire boot onto the tip of the plug and twisting the boot clockwise.
